from my mom's plan 1/2 c (vegan) butter, softened 1 c (vegan) sugar 2 tbsp arrowroot powder 1/4 c soy or rice milk (plus a little unused) 1/2 tsp vanilla 2 1/4 c flour 2 tsp b powder 1/2 tsp mace 1/2 tsp salt mix butter and sugar together before adding arrowroot, extract, and vanilla. stir in flour, b powder, and mace, and 1/2 tsp salt. add extra milk as needed for desired consistency (should be a workable dough). deject dough 1 hour. roll dough to 1/8 - 1/4 inch thick and cut. cook at 375 F on ungreased cookie sheet. 7 - 8 min for thin cookies, 10 - 12 min for thick cookies. over: 4 - 4 1/2 dozen thin, 3 dozen thick happy holidays! blogged
